Press Release September 2010
Happi Hands expanding its reach, helping those people in independent living and in sheltered housing. In response to popular demand, Happi Hands is to offer its massage therapy services to the elderly in sheltered housing and independent living called Happi Hands at Home.
Set up to provide nationwide support to care staff, Happi Hands is the first British company to specialise in providing massage therapy, manicures and hand treatments for the elderly in care.
Now Happi Hands is expanding its reach, helping those people in independent living and in sheltered housing.
Their therapists – who are all fully-qualified, CRB approved and fully-insured - provide the gentle contact that we all crave but that, so often, the elderly don’t get. More than that, Happi Hands provides a fun, happy and pleasurable experience.
Jane Lightfoot, founder, says: “We offer a completely new approach to the care of the elderly. When you’ve got kids you’re touching them all the time, you stroke them when they’re upset, you stroke them to make them feel better… that's even more important to the elderly in care – and that’s when people need that touch most.”
